A Dream Backyard Brought to Life

Some backyards invite possibility. This one begged for it.

When the homeowners reached out to PSW, they had a clear dream: summer afternoons by the pool, evenings grilling with friends, kids splashing while adults lounged in the sun. They wanted a place where memories could be made right outside their back door.

There was just one problem:
A staircase stood stubbornly in the middle of everything.

The deck stairs dropped straight into the center of the yard, splitting the space in half and blocking any hope of the open, flowing design the family imagined. It felt like the dream might not fit.

The Pool That Became the Heart of the Space

Once the yard opened up, everything fell into place.
A sparkling 12' × 24' pool now sits where obstacles once were. With its calming granite‑colored liner and a tanning ledge that practically invites you to unwind, it became the anchor of the family’s new oasis.

An Outdoor Kitchen Made for Gatherings

Just steps away, PSW built a warm, welcoming outdoor kitchen that feels like the heart of a home, only outside. A built‑in grill, fridge, and storage make it as functional as it is beautiful. It’s the kind of space where people instinctively gather and linger.

A Patio Built for Memories

The patio surrounding the pool is finished in smooth, natural‑toned pavers that glow in the evening light. A row of stepping stones along the side adds a subtle rhythm and charm, guiding footsteps and framing the yard in a way that’s both practical and artistic.

Landscaping That Brings the Space to Life

More than sixty plants, evergreens, flowering shrubs, and seasonal blooms wrap the yard in color, privacy, and softness. Each one brings its own texture and personality, turning the yard into a living, changing canvas.

As the sun sets, soft landscape lighting wakes up the space, illuminating the pool, the kitchen, and the surrounding greenery. The backyard transforms into something magical.
